This cemetery contains nine formal monuments and numerous footstones that mark the graves of 26 people. Resting here are JOHN SUMMERS (1688-1790) and Revolutionary War veteran FRANCIS SUMMERS (1732-1800).Depressions and other evidence suggests the presence of additional unmarked burials. An 82' x 90' fence surrounds the burials. A 10' x 12' wrought iron fence encloses markers 7 and 9 and a 20' x 25' iron fence surrounds marker 10. The Fairfax County Park Authority cleaned the cemetery, erected the outer fence, and built the trail next to the site in 1989.
