Fairfax County is updating and reassessing its approach to odor control at the Noman M Cole Pollution Control Plant. The County is seeking community participation to help ensure that its efforts are effective.

A second citizen advisory meeting has been scheduled on Thursday, February 22 from 7 PM to 9 PM. The meeting’s aim is twofold:

  • Consultant presentation of insights from the odor assessment and potential options for improving odor control
  • Understanding of citizens’ observations/perspectives

The meeting will be held in the main conference room of the Noman Cole Pollution Control Plant, 9399 Richmond Hwy, Lorton, Virginia. For questions, please contact Sarah Motsch at (703) 550-9740 ext. 227.
