Oct. 10, 2017

On Thursday, Oct. 12, come to the Government Center Farmers Market from 3 to 7 p.m. to get tips from a certified energy manager on how to save money on your utility bills and protect the environnment.

You'll be able to ask questions and get pro tips from the county's energy efficiency experts.

For example, simple actions like replacing the five most used lightbulbs in your home with energy efficient LED or CFL bulbs could save you up to $75 per year.

This in-person help is being offered through Energy Action Fairfax, the county's program to assist residents with saving energy—and money.

If you can't make it to the market on Thursday, contact our Energy Action Fairfax experts by email with your questions.
