Run! Get a healthy start to spring and participate in the Healthy Strides Expo fun runs for all ages. Registration for the fun runs will take place at Springfest and there will be a run at 11 a.m. and another at 2 p.m. Not sweaty enough? You and your family can also try the obstacle course and fitness games.
Eat! After burning all those calories, check out the delicious meals and treats for sale from several food trucks and vendors.
Play! There will be a lot of fun things to do and enjoy, including live music, pony rides, a bouncy house, cute animals and crafts.
Springfest is our county’s official celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day. Several tents and exhibits will have opportunities to learn more about our environment. Kids can pick up their Environmental Passport at the Clean Fairfax tent to earn stamps and stickers as you explore different tents. Bonus – kids who return to the Clean Fairfax tent on your way out can share what you’ve learned and receive a prize.
Celebrate Arbor Day with the annual presentation of the Arbor Day Proclamation, which ensures our county continues to be a Tree City USA site. There will be a morning tree planting at Occoquan Regional Park for folks looking to participate in an Arbor Day community service.
