The Office for Children is working in collaboration with the Fairfax County Health Department and other Health and Human Services agencies to ensure that accurate and helpful information about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is provided to both early childhood programs and families. Below you will find resources available to the early childhood community. Please check back often as this information will continue to be updated.

1/15/2021: The Fairfax County Health Department, through a partnership with the Inova Health System, child care center staff and family child care providers who work in Fairfax County, the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church and the towns of Herndon and Vienna are eligible for COVID-19 vaccine beginning in late January 2021. More information including registration link will be provided week of January 18-22.

1/8/21: Deadline for VDSS CARES III grant for first time applicants has been extended! The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021. Click here for application link and more information.
