Fairfax County Farmers Markets will join farmers markets across the nation in celebration of National Farmers Market Week, Aug. 7-13, 2022. Farmers Market Week highlights the role of farmers markets in supporting healthy communities, stimulating local economies, and supporting local farmers. The mission of the Fairfax County Farmers Markets is to provide residents access to locally grown products and create market opportunities for area farmers and food producers. Join us as we celebrate the contributions our local farmers and food producers to the Fairfax community!
Visit each of our 10 farmers markets Aug. 7-13, 2022 to support local farmers and businesses, learn how to prepare fresh ingredients at our cooking demonstrations, participate in fun & educational activities, listen to live music, and enjoy delicious foods from local producers. Farmers Market Week is also Bike to Market Week in Fairfax County. We invite you to bike to your local Fairfax County farmers market. To find a safe route, see the Fairfax County Bicycle Map.
