Grammy Award-winning musician and two-time IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year, Laurie Lewis is internationally renowned as a singer, songwriter, fiddler, bandleader, producer and educator. She has performed and recorded since 1986 with mandolinist Tom Rozum. Since her debut in 1986, Laurie has recorded nearly 20 albums, and her latest album - recorded with her band, the Right Hands - was nominated for the Best Bluegrass Recording Grammy in 2017.
Doors open at 6 p.m., show time is 7 p.m. The series, at the park's Visitor Center, is sponsored by the Friends of Frying Pan Park, Vienna Hardwoods, and Eastman Guitar and Mandolins in cooperation with Fairfax County Park Authority.
