Riverbend Park is hosting two astronomy nights on Saturdays in February. Come to the park on February 10 and February 24, 2018, to explore topics such as comets, meteors, moon phases and eclipses. End the evening around a campfire and roast marshmallows. The program is designed for astronomy-lovers age eight to adult and runs from 5 to 7 p.m. The cost is $10 per person. Hidden Oaks Nature Center is putting the moon in focus in a family fun astronomy program on Saturday, February 10. Participants age six to adult can learn about the moon and enjoy activities and crafts to help demystify the moon and bring it down to earth. The program from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. costs $6 per person. Children must be accompanied by an adult registered in the program.
