Catch the Beat All Summer with Free Concerts in Parks

Toes will be tapping from June through August as the Fairfax County Park Authority again hosts its free Summer Entertainment Series at parks throughout the county. Enjoy musical styles from Jazz to Classic Rock, Blues to Funk, and Country to Swing. Some of the highlights this summer include:

  • June 7 – The West Potomac High School Jazz Band plays at Grist Mill Park.
  • June 15 -- The United States Navy Sea Chanters sing at Workhouse Arts Center.
  • June 26 -- The Fabulous Hubcaps perform Oldies Classic Rock at the Lee District Park Amphitheater.
  • June 27 – Scythian brings Irish Rock to Frying Pan Farm Park.
  • July 6 -- Roomful of Blues bring legendary Blues music to Arrowbrook Centre Park.
  • July 12 -- Eilen Jewell performs Alt-country at the Mason District Park Amphitheater.
  • July 17 -- The Reagan Years 80's Tribute Band takes the stage at Burke Lake Park.
  • July 18 -- Maybe April brings Country music to the Fairfax County Government Center.
  • July 20 -- Brother Joscephus and the Love Revival Revolution party in New Orleans style at Arrowbrook Centre Park.
  • July 24 -- The Woodshedders perform Indie Roots Rock at Burke Lake Park.
  • August 2 -- Blue Highway brings Bluegrass sounds to Grist Mill Park.
  • August 7 -- The United States Navy 'Country Current' plays country-bluegrass music at the Lee District Park Amphitheater.
  • August 8 - Daryl Davis brings the sounds of Swing to the Mason District Park Amphitheater.
  • August 14 -- The Johnny Artis Band plays Blues and Rock & Roll at Burke Lake Park.
  • August 21 -- Junkyard Band brings Go-Go and Funk to Lee District Park Amphitheater.
  • August 24 -- Roy Bookbinder performs Acoustic Blues at Workhouse Arts Center.
