An updated pedestrian bridge is being constructed in Lewinsville Park in McLean, Virginia. Construction began this week and is expected to be completed within approximately two weeks, pending any weather delays.
Fairfax County Park Authority contractor Accubid Construction Services is replacing the wooden pedestrian bridge that connected Lewinsville Park and the Lewinsville Heights neighborhood with a new fiberglass bridge. The fiberglass bridge will be longer and wider than the old bridge at 30 feet by 8 feet.
