Explore the riparian forest of the Pohick Stream Valley on a “Stream Valley Hike” at Hidden Pond Nature Center.
See firsthand the flora and fauna that make up this great ecosystem and learn how the system filters water in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Along the way, search for wildlife residents, such as turtles, snakes and frogs.
The program runs from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020. The cost is $7 per person, and the hike is designed for explorers age seven to adult.
Six-foot distancing and face masks will be required for safety. Apologies, but the bathrooms will not be open. This program will be canceled in the event of heavy rain or thunderstorms.
