How is a still related to a mill?
Learn about the distilling process, how ciders are made, and why these activities are mill-related at the “Stills and Cider” event at Colvin Run Mill on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020.
Watch the cider press in action and see how a still operates. This is a family-friendly event, so no alcohol will be involved. This will be a water-only operation, and visitors of all ages can enjoy samples of the non-alcoholic apple cider. While you are there, you can also listen to live music sponsored by the Friends of Colvin Run Mill.
This event is designed for participants age 3 to adult and runs from noon to 2 p.m. The cost is $10 per person.
A mask or face covering is required to be worn by individuals age 2 and older when indoors at Park Authority facilities. Masks or face coverings are required for outdoor programs when physical distancing cannot be maintained. Exceptions will be made for health reasons or for activities such as eating or exercising.
