Curious about what happens in nature after the sun sets? Get some answers in the “Nature at Night” program this fall at Riverbend Park.
Spend a Friday evening learning what goes on in the park after people have left for the day. Each night will feature a different topic about life in the forest, on the river, in the pond or at the meadow after dark. Enjoy hikes, make an awesome craft, try to catch a peek at nocturnal critters and learn how these animals wake up when we go to sleep.
The program runs Sept. 25, Oct. 9, Oct. 23 and Nov. 6, 2020, and is designed for participants age 5 to adult. Meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $8 per person.
Individuals age 2 and older are required to wear a mask or face covering when indoors at Park Authority facilities. Masks or face coverings are required for outdoor programs when physical distancing cannot be maintained. Exceptions will be made for health reasons or for activities, such as eating or exercising.
