Golf Fairfax Tees Up for Women’s Golf Month in June

Women’s Golf MonthThe Fairfax County Park Authority’s seven courses are celebrating Women’s Golf Month with a variety of fun social events and specials to celebrate our growing network of women golfers.

Whether you have never picked up a club or are looking to get back into it, golf is an excellent way to stay healthy, challenge yourself mentally, embrace nature and connect with people. Our June events were designed for women at all levels to practice their swing on the range or take it to the course.

Get the ball rolling with buy one, get one free small buckets of balls at Burke Lake and Laurel Hill courses all month long! Need to jazz up your golf outfits? Take 15% off all merchandise at Twin Lakes Golf Course, sales items included. Meet new golf pals with low-pressure Nine & Wines for all levels! Choose from a wide variety of events June 11, 18 and 25 at Pinecrest, June 12 and 23 at Laurel Hill, and June 17 and 24 at Burke Lake. Price includes round of golf, small bucket of warm-up balls, power cart (where available) or pushcart and one beer, wine or non-alcoholic beverage. Bring a friend out to play and get her round free on June 17 at Jefferson Golf Course when you purchase a round at regular price. League play will follow all Park and Play Safety Guidelines.

Meet other ladies who love the game by joining one of our women’s leagues. Leagues play now-October at Burke Lake, Greendale, Jefferson, Oak Marr, Pinecrest, and Twin Lakes golf courses.
