One of Fairfax County’s most popular parks is hiring! Three part-time positions are currently open at Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon, Virginia. Successful candidates will work up to 30 hours each week, including some weekends and evenings, and be eligible for health care benefits.
Farm Hand – this position helps care for almost 100 farm animals, including horses, cows, pigs, sheep, goats and chickens. Also works in crop production to grow corn and make hay. Recreation Programmer – this position creates and oversees recreational classes, programs and activities for adults and children. Must be comfortable working on computers and learning new software; and be able to work outside, stand for extended periods, have a driver’s license and lift up to 40 pounds. Front Desk Staff – this position provides excellent customer service to people who call or visit the park. Will use various computer software programs to process registrations, payments, contracts and facility rentals. Must have a driver’s license and be able to lift 30 pounds.
