Find Balance Between Meals and Fitness This Holiday Season

Rec CenterBalance all the delicious holiday meals and hectic holiday shopping at your nearby Fairfax County Park Authority Rec Center. Take a break and reenergize with these drop-in classes that are free with membership or general admission.

Try a barre workout on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. at Providence Rec Center. Meet the instructor and enjoy a new type of workout.

Also on Saturday is Turkey Burn at South Run Rec Center from 7 to 11 a.m. Join a variety of fitness instructors for 30-minute demos of some of your favorite class formats.

Here’s a fun and energizing way to end the Thanksgiving weekend. Come to Spring Hill Rec Center on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2022 from 4 to 6 p.m. for Thankfully Fit Night. It’s two hours filled with four different group fitness class formats.

And on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022, take a break from the holiday hustle and bustle with Merry Fitness at Spring Hill Rec Center. From 4 to 6 p.m., enjoy four different group fitness class formats and move your body to celebrate the holiday season.
