Another playground replacement project is about to start!
The Fairfax County Park Authority will soon begin the Popes Head Park playground replacement project, which will require closure of the playground during the construction period.
Contractors will be mobilizing on site shortly, with active construction activities beginning at the end of March 2022. The project includes replacement of the playground equipment and related site work. Contingent on the weather, the new playground is expected to open at the beginning of June. The project will cost approximately $260,000 and is funded by the 2020 Park Bond.
