Veterans and Their Families Invited To Use Rec Centers

Veterans Day Rec CentersThe Fairfax County Park Authority will join in the national commemoration of Veterans Day on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, by offering free admission to the Rec Centers to those who serve and have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Veterans and active-duty military personnel and their families are invited to use the county’s Rec Centers at no cost on Veterans Day. That includes admission to pools, fitness rooms, gyms and racquetball courts at the county’s nine recreational facilities. It’s the Park Authority’s way of saying “Thank you” for their service to our country.

Please bring your military identification to enjoy this complimentary rec center access. This program is supported through contributions from individual donors and corporate sponsors to the Fairfax County Park Foundation.

For more information about the location nearest you, visit the Rec Center website. Or call the rec center to make your reservation.
