Burke Lake Golf Clubhouse Ribbon Cutting Set
The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and the Fairfax County Park Authority Board will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 for the newly constructed Burke Lake Golf Center Clubhouse. This is the latest phase of the $6.6 million redevelopment project, funded by voter-approved park bonds. A state-of-the-art heated, covered driving range opened in April.
Members of the public are invited to celebrate the new facility, sample the new dining options and enjoy the upgraded features.
The 4200-square foot clubhouse is now open and boasts a modernized pro shop, updated kitchen and dining area, enhanced food and beverage options and patio overlooking the golf course.
“Staff is very excited to be in the new building. We hope our customers love the new space and what we now have to offer,” said Burke Lake Golf Manager Lewis Musolf, who has worked at the course since 1997.
The next phase of the project includes demolition of the old clubhouse, addition of a second putting green, transformation of the existing putting green into a chipping green and the addition of a new practice bunker.
The Burke Lake Golf Center driving range operates from dawn until 11 p.m. and is available for private functions and parties with food and beverage package options.
Burke Lake Golf Center is located at 7315 Ox Road in Fairfax Station, VA. For more information regarding this new facility visit online at Burke Lake Golf Center Clubhouse.
