Take a Halloween Wagon Ride or Go a Little Batty
Riverbend Park is brewing up some Halloween fun with a daytime wagon ride and an evening bat program on Saturday, October 28, 2017 .
Embark on a not-so-scary Halloween wagon ride through Riverbend Park. Learn about the park’s animals and meet one as part of the program. This hour-long event runs at 11 a.m. and costs $7 per person (please note that the 3 p.m. ride is sold out). The adventure is geared toward participants age two to adult.
In the evening, come to a campfire and learn about the bats that inhabit Riverbend. Through games and activities, find out why these night-flying marvels are disappearing from our skies. Bring a toasting stick; s’mores will be provided. The one-hour program begins at 6 p.m. and costs $8 per person. Come early if you would like to bring a picnic or hot dogs to toast. This event is for participants age two to adult. Children must be accompanied by an adult registered for the program.
Riverbend Park is located at 8700 Potomac Hills Street, Great Falls, VA. For more information, call 703-759-9018 or visit Riverbend Park.
