A Taste of Tea & History: Women’s History

(8-Adult) Have a light afternoon tea with scones and preserves at Sully Historic Site as you feel the impact of women from different times in Sully’s history. Learn about Elizabeth Collins Lee, who lived at Sully in 1794. Hear the dilemma of Patty, Madam Juba and the laundry. Discover how Maria Barlow faced war in 1864. And find out why Eleanor Lee Templeman, a Lee descendent, is credited with helping save Sully from demolition.
