Lynne Lewicki

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT

Lynne Lewicki
Cub Run RECenter's
2016 Outstanding Volunteer
of the Year

Lynne has volunteered with the Park Authority for over four years in various capacities, and in different divisions, providing over 640 service hours. She began her volunteer service with the Park Authority at Sully Historic site assisting with tours, then moving to special events. Lynne is so dedicated to her duties that she arrives early to prepare for the thousands of visitors at the special events that she assists with at Sully.

Lynne is a vivacious, fun warm person. She always comes to the RECenter with a friendly, and welcoming smile. Lynne has been instrumental in promoting our camps and class programs at Cub Run. She has always been willing to assist the managers in all facets of programming and building needs. She attended the Nysmith Stem Fair, assisting with outreach promotion of RECenter programs and support at the FCPA Camp Fair. Lynne talked to hundreds of potential customers about the assets of the RECenter and worked with them to find the camp program that would be appropriate for their children

Lynne is a dependable, reliable volunteer with amazing artistic abilities, who is always willing to lend a hand. During a staff shortage this winter at Cub Run, Lynne stepped up and offered her artistic talents to help design and put together our camp bulletin boards. She single handedly designed and cut out pieces for each bulletin board, saving many staff hours as a result.

Lynne has been a great asset to Cub Run RECenter and the Park Authority as a whole. She is always on time and cheerful with our customers and takes challenging situations in stride. Not only does she greet our customers with a smile, she also adds an element of fun to our day!

We are proud to nominate Lynne Lewicki as our Outstanding Volunteer of the Year! Congratulations Lynne!
