FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. - Two meetings are planned to gather public input and present the alternative analysis report to residents regarding the Lake Accotink Dredging Project.
The county’s consultant, Arcadis, submitted the report to inform stakeholders, elected officials and employees about options available for the location of dredge staging and sediment process, and the placement of temporary pipelines.
The next step is to obtain community involvement in reviewing the report and selecting options for the dredging operation.
- The first public meeting (in person) is Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Annandale High School auditorium, 4700 Medford Drive, Annandale, VA 22003

The public comment period extends from Thursday, July 22 to Sunday, August 22, 2021. Comments on the report may be submitted at the public meetings, via email to F515@Publicinput.com or by U.S. mail to Fairfax County DPWES, Lake Accotink Dredging, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Suite 449, Fairfax, VA 22035.
