Have you ever wondered what happens to your water after you have used it? Come see the science, engineering and hard work it takes to clean water and keep the public and environment healthy!

When: Join us on December 7, 2024 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Where: 9399 Richmond Highway, Lorton VA

Come through our entrance, go to the right front gate and park in our front lot. We will sign you in when you get here! We will have:

• Guided tours of the wastewater treatment plant at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
• Guided tours of our tunnel system throughout the event
• Guided tours of our warehouse and shops throughout the event
• Touch a truck with our heavy equipment vehicles
• Activities and information for all ages
• Snacks and festive drinks to celebrate the season

What to bring:

• You and your family! Kids are welcome but will need to be supervised by adults at all times. Children under the age of 5 will not be allowed off of the bus during the plant tour for safety concerns.
• Wear shoes you can comfortably walk in and dress appropriately for the weather.
• Come with questions!
• We will provide safety gear needed for all tours.
