Retirement Systems Outreach Team is looking for volunteers!
Are you willing to help your fellow co-workers?
Do you want to learn as much as you can about YOUR county retirement benefit?
How does the old saying go… the best way to learn about something is to teach it!
If you are interested in volunteering, here’s your chance.
Fairfax County Retirement Systems will train you on all the information you will need to
answer your co-workers questions, or tell them where to go for more information about
their retirement plan.
What we will provide:
- Paid training/lunch
- Freebies(swag)
- General details about the retirement system
and how it works - Wealth of resources to provide your co-workers
- Keeping you in the loop about retirement current events
- Endless possibilities of helping your co-workers out
We are looking for up to two volunteers per school/team

This is not a Retirement Class or a retirement counseling session. This is volunteer partnership to help you
and your co-workers know more facts about the county retirement, where to go for more information, and
to keep you updated and informed on current retirement happenings.
This is a volunteer activity and cannot negatively impact your ability to perform your assigned job duties.
It also doesn’t come with increased pay or reclassification.
