Shop with the Sheriff

Sheriff Stacey Kincaid shops with a little boy at Target

At the end of every summer, the Fairfax County Sheriff's Office takes children who are homeless on a back-to-school shopping trip at the Target in Burke, Va. Since 1992, Shop with the Sheriff has paired deputies and other Sheriff's Office staff with school-aged children temporarily residing at the county's emergency shelters. The Sheriff's Office raises enough money to give each of about 40 children a $250 gift card to spend on clothing, shoes and accessories.

The Sheriff's Office thanks the following businesses and organizations for their generous donations that will help make the 2016 program a great success for the kids!

  • Target Store – Burke, VA
  • Montessori of Chantilly - Casa Dei Bambini
  • Paisano's Pizza
  • Fairfax Sheriffs' Association
  • SEIU Virginia 512
