Supervisor Penny Gross and Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) invite you to a public information meeting to provide an update on the traffic analysis
and safety improvements at the intersection of North Beauregard Street and North Chambliss Street. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 7 p.m., in the cafeteria of Holmes Middle School.
The proposed project is part of the FCDOT spot improvement program in the Mason District. Original scope of work included removing the right turn lane onto Shackelford
Terrace, as well as southbound North Chambliss Street, which merges onto North Beauregard Street. The median will be widened toward the west. A third lane will be
added to southbound North Chambliss Street at the intersection and to the southbound receiving lane on North Beauregard Street.
Attendees will have the opportunity to review project information during an open house period, get the latest updates during a formal presentation by FCDOT and ask questions at the end. Participants may give feedback on the project at the meeting, via comment form on the project webpage, or by calling FCDOT at 703-877-5600. All comments are due by Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018.
FCDOT ensures nondiscrimination in all programs and activities in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
