The City of Fairfax Band Association, Inc. added its newest ensemble, the "Main Street Community Band" (MSCB), in February of 2009. This band is led by Geoffrey K. Seffens, long-time Lanier Intermediate School band director and former director of the Vienna Concert Band. Their repertoire ranges from Baroque to Beatles including works by Gabrieli, Stephen Foster, Holst, as well as some arrangements by members of the group.
