Fall is an excellent time to enjoy the flickering flames and crackle of a cozy campfire under stary skies. The weather is comfortable, and the autumn color surrounds and creates a picturesque backdrop. Burke Lake Park has an excellent lineup of events to help residents of all ages enjoy the great outdoors:
Family Campouts
Burke Lake Park is the perfect setting for a family campout, and we’re making it even better. Join us for planned events, such as a campground orientation, guided nature programs and hikes, do-it-yourself campfire and s’more supplies, and fishing.
Registration fees include a bundle of firewood and all activities on Saturday and Sunday. Program starts at 2 p.m. on Saturday and ends at 11 a.m. on Sunday. One registration per family. Family Campouts are offered on Sept. 2 and Oct. 21. The cost of the program is $102.
Campfire Programs
Experience the magic of the great outdoors by joining our captivating campfire programs. Explore the wonders of our natural world with nature walks, interactive activities, animal presentations, and other opportunities to enjoy nature. Campfire Saturdays programs are offered from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 16, and from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 4. The cost of the program is $10.

Overnight Camping Adventures
