Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Connect broader social and environmental factors to chronic disease outcomes.
- Identify patients who experience food insecurity and recommend interventions to improve their nutrition, physical and mental health.
- Understand the role physicians play in increasing the amount of time patients spend in nature, which leads to improvements in both physical and mental wellbeing.
- Implement the Rx for Food and ParkRx America programs in their practice and connect patients to community resources.
