This feature service contains discrete points representing amenities or clusters of amenities located on Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA) owned and/or maintained property. There may be more than one amenity point per park. In situations where amenities in a park are spread out over a large geographic distance, the park has multiple addresses, or the park is comprised of multiple non-contiguous segments, multiple points will be assigned. The Data Capture Methodology section in the metadata describes all the scenarios for point placement, while the collection notes illustrate how to apply attribution for each record. Unique features were digitized using Fairfax County aerial imagery. |
