This map service serves the Trail Buddy web application, an interactive web-based mapping application for navigating the extensive network of county trails. Fairfax County contains over 900 miles of trails, bikeways and sidewalks that have been mapped and incorporated into a Geographic Information Systems database. This web map contains broad-spectrum data on the trails, bikeways, and sidewalks located on Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA) owned and/or maintained property and elsewhere in Fairfax County. Trail Buddy also provides access to the Bike Fairfax interactive bike map, which highlights the most desirable on and off-road bike routes for recreational and commuter bicyclists. |
