Service Description: LiDAR surface representing the heights of above ground features derived by subtracting bare earth elevation from digital surface model elevation. Due to the subtraction, ground elevations are set to zero, or nearly zero, and should not be used. Only the heights of above ground features are valid in this layer. Vertical Units are in meters referenced to North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88) though a raster function is available to report pixel values in feet. To download LiDAR data, please go to the US Geological Survey's National Map Viewer.
