| Channel 16 programming including Board of Supervisors meetings
and award-winning shows such as "County Magazine" and
"Your Community, Your Call" are accessible to the hearing
impaired community through Channel 16’s complete closed-captioning
service.
Since 1992 when Channel 16 began using sign language interpreters at the Board of Supervisor meetings, Channel 16 has
been a leader in government television in reaching out to the hearing impaired community. In 1996, technology allowed for
closed-captioning of the board meetings. Now, Channel 16 expands its accessibility to the community by delivering all of
its pre-recorded programming with closed captions.
The Channel 16 schedule lists all programs showing this month.
