By 2030, the population of persons 70 and older is expected to increase by 88 percent. With this huge influx of aging adults planning to make Fairfax County their home, the County’s Board of Supervisors adopted a plan to create more aging friendly communities. On this edition of Mature Living, Springfield District Supervisor Pat Herrity and Area Agency on Aging Director Sharon Lynn discuss how the 50 + plan will accommodate the needs of older adults.
