Photo of Foxes

Fairfax County is home to a wide variety of animal species.  On this edition of The Wild Side of Fairfax County, we take an in-depth look at the fox, and offer tips on how we can co-exist with these fascinating animals.  Join our host, Dr. Katherine Edwards, Fairfax County Wildlife Management Specialist, as she talks with Tony Bulmer, a Naturalist with the Fairfax County Park Authority, and Forrest Higginbotham, an Animal Control Officer.  Kevin Rose, District Wildlife Biologist for the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries also joins this discussion, and shares information on the type of fox found in Fairfax and how to deter this animal from making a den in your yard.  (CC)
