Wild Side

Watch The Wild Side of Fairfax County: Deer

This edition of The Wild Side of Fairfax County focuses on deer. Although these creatures are wonderful to observe, it must be done from a distance.  The increase in the deer population means an increase in potential traffic accidents involving deer, especially in the early morning hours and at dusk.  Deer are also becoming bolder, venturing into garden areas more than ever before.  Learn how you can protect your garden and explore how Fairfax County’s deer management program is working to protect this animal as well as the well-being of Fairfax County residents.  (CC)
