Purpose: Purpose: The Electoral Board is responsible for the proper and orderly conduct of all federal, state, local and town elections held in Fairfax County.

Number of Seats: 3
Membership: Terms: 3 year appointment (by Circuit Court judges) on a staggered term basis. 3 members: Two (2) represent the political party that received the highest number of votes in the preceding gubernatorial election. The remaining member represents that party that received the next highest number of votes.
Meeting Info: TBD - The Electoral Board always meets the day of, or the day following, every Election Day to canvass the results. It also meets otherwise, as needed, throughout the year. All meeting dates and times are posted on the Fairfax County Public Meetings Calendar.
