Mature Living: Food Inside and Outside the Home

We all eat to sustain ourselves, but food also fosters our sense of community. Maria Loh, Coordinator of the Fairfax Area Agency on Aging’s Congregate Nutrition and Transportation Program, highlights the importance of congregate meals in the county's senior centers.  Shannon Dodd, Supervisor in the Area Agency on Aging's Nutrition Unit, discusses the Meals on Wheels program.  Theresa Brown with Volunteer Solutions talks about the Mealtime Visitors program, and viewers learn that there are opportunities to connect as a client or a volunteer in both the Meals on Wheels and Mealtime Visitors Programs.
