Notice of Public Hearing for Development of Affordable Housing in Sully District

The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) will hold a public hearing on October 21, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.  The public hearing is on the proposed Interim Agreement with Cornerstones Housing Corporation for the development of a property at the intersection of West Ox Road and US Route 50, having Fairfax County Tax Map Numbers 46-3 ((1)), parcels 9B and 8, and being called Fair Ridge at West Ox to create affordable residences for low-income individuals pursuant to the Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2002, as amended Va. Code Ann §§ 56-575.1-575.16 (PPEA).  The Interim Agreement would, among other things, allow Cornerstones to pursue land use approvals for the project.

In accordance with the requirements of the PPEA Guidelines of the County, adopted pursuant to Va. Code Ann. §§ 56-575.1-575.16, a copy of the Interim Agreement has been posted online with the Fairfax County Department of Procurement and Material Management (www.fairfaxcounty.gov/procurement/ppea) and the Fairfax County Department of Housing and Community Development (www.fairfaxcounty.gov/housing/news/2021/public-hearing-October 21-Fair Ridge). Electronic copies of the documents may also be obtained by contacting the Office of the Clerk to the Board of Supervisors at ClerktotheBOS@fairfaxcounty.gov, or by calling 703-324-3151.
