Golf Fairfax Welcomes the Next Generation of Golfers

Junior GolfGolf Fairfax is excited to offer year-round options for junior golfers. Whether your child is new to golf or swinging like a pro, they will learn FUNdamentals while connecting with other kids and nature!

Designed to unlock potential and fuel excitement in the rising generation, the Junior Golf program promotes access and inclusivity in the sport of golf with several discounts on practice and play:

  • Junior golfers learn putting, chipping, irons and woods play, as well as course etiquette and safety with our junior golf classes, or enhance their skills with private and semi-private lessons.
  • Golfers ages 5 to 17 can dive into the game with 35% off regular greens fees (holidays excluded) at Burke Lake, Greendale, Jefferson, Oak Marr, Pinecrest, Twin Lakes (weekdays) and Laurel Hill (daily after noon) golf courses.
  • Kids and teens can perfect their swing with daily buy-one-get-one-free range balls (small bucket) at Burke Lake and Oak Marr.
  • Burke Lake and Oak Marr Golf Centers now provide Youth on Course members, age 6 to 18, with access to discounted rounds of golf. For just $5, you can play nine holes at Oak Marr or 18 holes at Burke Lake, Monday to Thursday after noon, and Friday to Sunday after 2 p.m. This program is in partnership with Youth on Course and the Virginia State Golf Association.

The Fairfax County Park Authority owns and operates seven golf courses throughout the county. To learn more about Golf Fairfax junior programs, visit the Junior Golf webpage.
