UNOFFICIAL election returns are available after the polls close at 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, and updated every 20-25 minutes, throughout the night. Only Fairfax County precinct returns are available on this website. For more frequent updates and complete unofficial statewide returns please visit the Virginia State Board of Elections Website.

Previous Election Returns

You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader program installed on your computer to view and/or print returns for previous elections. If you do not have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, click on the image below to go to the Adobe Systems download site. Download and install the program according to the instructions. Adobe Acrobat Reader is free and is distributed by Adobe Systems. Previous election returns, maps and statistical reports, are available only in PDF format and can be retrieved from the menu at the bottom of this page.

To view the results of previous elections, click the down arrow, select an election, and press Go. The files are in PDF format and require Adobe Acrobat Reader. General, special, primary, and town elections from 1990 through 2008 are listed.
