This cemetery is in a stand of trees about 75 yards south of the "John Hutchison House." This home, built c. 1750, is the oldest surviving brick house in western Fairfax County and was restored when the Lafayette Business Park was constructed. There is only one remaining headstone, RICHARD MAJOR (1722-1794) and SARAH MAJOR (1723-1801), but there are many fieldstones and unmarked graves. Hutchison family descendants reported that there used to be many more headstones, but they were placed in a pile in the 1940's and disappeared sometime later. The last reported burial was in 1904.
