"Blenheim," was built by REZEN WILLCOXON in 1858 to replace an earlier frame dwelling. The cemetery is located in a small clearing about 50 yards northeast of the house. There are five headstones and evidence of at least 10 additional burials. Some of the unmarked burials are in the woods north of the clearing. NOTE: Blenheim is now owned by the City of Fairfax.

Death: FEB 18, 1904

Comment: "In memory of/MARGARET CONN WILLCOXON/ Wife of/RICHARD R. FARR/ Born in Fairfax Co., Va. March 4, 1820/ Died in Fairfax C.H., Va. Feb. 18, 1904/ 'Not for the dead in Christ we weep:/Their sorrows now are o'er:/The sea ì is calm, the tempest past,/On that eternal shore." f.s. "M. C. W. F."

RICHARD R. FARR
Birth: MAR 7, 1804

Death: SEP 17, 1843

Comment: "In memory of/RICHARD R. FARR/ Born March 7th. 1804:/Died Sept'r. 17th. 1843:/ Lo where the silent marble weeps,/ A friend, a Husband, a father sleeps;/ A heart within whose sacred cell,/ ì The nobler virtues loved to dwell./ Affection warm and faith sincere,/ And generous humanity/ were there:/ An agony, in death resigned,/ He felt the wound he left behind." f.s.
