Description |
Head Start is a national child development program that serves income eligible families with children birth through five years of age and expectant parents. Families participating in Head Start receive assistance with:
- Child education and development.
- Social services.
- Health services(medical, dental, nutrition, mental health, and prenatal care).
- Parent education.
- Family literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL).
