Never forget favorite or notable aspects of the books you read when you keep a record of the things that stood out to or stuck with you from each title. Use the prompts below to inspire your reflections and the printable template to guide your journaling!
- Who was your favorite character? What qualities made them so?
- What pulled you in? (In other words: why did you decide to read this book?)
- What kept you reading?
- Did it give you a “reading hangover?” (A reading hangover means you keep thinking about some aspect of the book or need time to process well after you finish reading.)
- What were your favorite passages or quotes?
- Would you recommend the title to others? With what limitations?
