Excess and Surplus Property


Details
Description Surplus property is tangible property that is no longer of use to any county agency because it is obsolete, uneconomical to repair, or valued only for its base contents. In addition, confiscated and unclaimed property held by the Fairfax County Police Department and not needed by the county is considered surplus property.
