Join us for Sensational Explorers, a free weekly social playgroup in the sensory room at Jim Scott Community Center, Fairfax. This calming space is designed for young children and individuals with disabilities to explore at their own pace with parent participation. Limited to 8 families; commitment to all 4 sessions required. If you’ve recently attended, please explore other sensory opportunities to allow new families to join.

ITC will host a meet-up at Sully Community Center’s Sensory Room. The sensory room is designed to be a calm and relaxing environment. There are a variety of sights, sounds, and interactive elements that promote stress-free engagement and physical and intellectual development-especially for young children and individuals with disabilities. The kids are free to roam and explore the room in an unstructured manner at their leisure, and parents are encouraged to engage in activities with their child. This is a parent-and-child participation class.  Space is limited, and advance registration is required.

Join us at Patriot Park North and playground! Children will have the opportunity to meet local fire fighters and see a School Bus, Fairfax Connector Bus, and Fire Truck up close. Please register and we look forward to seeing you. (Note: These are real fire fighters and they may have to leave in case of an emergency.)
