What We Do

Supervisor Walter L. Alcorn represents the residents of the Hunter Mill District, which includes Reston, Vienna, and parts of Tysons and Herndon. The Board of Supervisors establishes county policies and ordinances, sets local tax rates, and approves budget and land use plans. The Hunter Mill District Supervisor's Office provides constituent services for residents, and supports the supervisor in the mission of governing the district and the county.
