Description |
Included in Braddock District's 26-square-mile boundaries are: a major university, a thriving community college, four high schools, 17 elementary schools, 12 retail shopping centers, five light industrial areas, part of a commercial business district and 28 churches of various denominations. In addition to the larger Wakefield Recreation Center and Lake Accotink Park, smaller neighborhood parks are dotted throughout the district. Most of Braddock is comprised of residential communities, with a mixture of mostly single-family homes, townhouses, and some condominiums and apartments. |
