  Advanced Life Support (ALS) - Emergency medical service provided by Paramedics, usually to intervene in life threatening situations with advanced skills.
Current Ambulance/Medic Unit Ambulance or Medic unit used to transport emergency medical services patients.
Automatic electronic defibrillator Automatic External Defibrillators (AED)
Brush Truck Brush Truck Four-wheel drive vehicle that carries a small pump, water, and tools used to extinguish brush/grass fires in limited access areas.
Engine/Paramedic Engine Engine or Paramedic Engine
Rescue Engine Rescue Engine - A vehicle that is equipped as both a fire engine and a heavy rescue squad. Designed to handle fire suppression, vehicle rescue, forcible entry and medical emergencies.
Heavy Rescue Squad Rescue Squad or Heavy Rescue Squad - A vehicle that carries tools and extrication equipment to rescue people trapped in cars, collapsed buildings or other situations. May have specialized equipment for technical rescues or hazardous materials emergencies.
